Site Planning

“Good plans shape good decisions. That's why good planning helps to make elusive dreams come true.” - Lester Robert Bittel (b. 1918), writer

Site Planning is the organizational component of the master planning process and “Site Plan Approval” is a basic part of the land development approval process in Ontario.  Municipalities require Site Plan Approval before issuance of a building permit for all Commercial, Industrial and Office development, as well as most residential projects over 3 units.  PLANbyDESIGN helps you to understand the municipal requirements to get site plan approval for your project.

PLANbyDESIGN uses an understanding of geographical influences along with existing site conditions including; topography and slopes, geology, vegetation, hydrology, existing structures, infrastructure, and any legal constraints, including zoning, existing easements, and other restrictions to development, to complete Site Plans.
